The simple fact is, Bush/Cheney have outsourced America's Energy policy to Exxon Mobil and other oil, gas, and coal companies, for the last eight years. And we are now being fully fleeced by the same, with $4.00 a gallon gas and no viable energy alternatives. Which is exactly what the oil companies wanted to accomplish.

Instead, we should take back the billions of dollars stolen from Americans by these predatory energy companies, and invest that money into building the infrastructure for alternative energy sources, to free America from the grip of the oil companies and their foreign oil suppliers. Instead of sending billions of dollars to Saudi Arabia, we could instead build jobs in new energy industries in America. Drilling for more oil in our National Parks isn't the answer.

One thing we know for sure. Oil companies only want to keep us addicted to oil with no alternatives. And the US Chamber of Commerce is a radical conservative ally of the oil companies and Republicans.
